Experience
Before venturing out on his own in 2001, Rick spent more than 12
years at Intel in marketing, human resources, and finance. A highlight
of his tenure there was establishing the corporate staffing communications
function including the employment site within intel.com. At the
forefront of the shift to e-recruiting Rick was interviewed by Workforce
Magazine, Dow Jones News Service, CNET, and the San Jose Mercury
News. Prior to Intel, Rick spent almost 3 years in sales support
at IBM. He currently serves as VP of Communications for The Math
Learning Center.
Community
Service
Rick has served as a board member and president for two Oregon
non-profit organizations. He continues to contribute to the community
through pro bono consulting work.
Education
Rick has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Lewis &
Clark College, an MBA from UCLA, and a master’s of adult education
from Oregon State University.
Ongoing professional development includes seminars on critical
thinking, systems thinking, and presenting data.
